Need A Hand?

Lend A Hand is Here to Help!

Lend A Hand is here to support older adults and adults with disabilities with everyday tasks, helping reduce the risk of injury and maintain independence at home.
Our background-checked volunteers use an app called POINT to view available tasks and will contact you directly to offer assistance.

Please make sure to answer or return calls from volunteers so they can help you. If you don’t typically answer unknown numbers, just let us know — we’re happy to help coordinate the connection.

If you could use a hand with any of the following, let us know:

Technology Help:
Need a hand with your smartphone, tablet, email, or remote? A volunteer can walk you through it, step by step.

Household Tasks:
Volunteers can help with small fixes around the house, like hanging pictures, changing light bulbs, rearranging furniture, or tackling minor repairs.

Seasonal Support:
Get help with outdoor tasks like raking leaves, shoveling snow, or light yardwork when the seasons change.

Community Support:
Want to attend a local event like the Bozeman Farmers Market but need a little extra support while you are there? Volunteers can go with you and help you feel safe and comfortable while you're out in the community.

Other Tasks:
Whether it's organizing a room, running a small errand, helping with recycling, or just offering a steady arm for walking, let us know what would make your day easier.
